Holographic boundary conformal field theory with TT̄ deformation abstract structural diagram

Abstract

We propose a holographic dual of boundary conformal field theory with TT̄ deformation. The construction distinguishes two holographic descriptions and studies their field-theory spectra, entanglement entropy, and boundary entropy.

Context

TT̄ deformation gives a controlled irrelevant deformation with a geometric cutoff interpretation. Adding a boundary requires a consistent treatment of both the cutoff geometry and the end-of-the-world brane.

Main result

The paper formulates two holographic proposals for TT̄-deformed BCFT and tests them through the spectrum, entanglement entropy, and boundary entropy.

Why it matters

It makes the interplay between irrelevant deformation and boundary geometry concrete through observables that can be checked on both sides of the duality.
